Hello readers.
Before we begin id like to say a huge thanks to the people who emailed me for ideas opions for posts and the few who offered to write a couple posts.
Ok and now we can begin we start this post about the siglo de oro or the golden age of Spain we must go back to how it happened. in the year 1492 in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain) the catholic kings finally reconquered there territory from the Arabs that is one of the reasons the others are as followed the first spanish dictionary was wrote and the famous Christopher Columbus descovered the new world.
During this time since the spanish was very weathly thanks to whats now known as south america every facet of culture exploded from music to theater to architecture to art each and every single one made spain what it is today and inspired the rest of europe to follow in its grandure which they all did for the next few hundred years.
This period may hve started with glory but it ended with the last of the great makers of culture as i like to put it who died in the year 1681.
