Hello all. Another post about America.
One of the things that makes most of us tick: American football. Quick thing about American football. If you dont know, here we call football soccer. American football is basically rugby, with more rules. That being said, American football is played at even the earliest stages of life, as soccer is around the world.
Every high school(years 10-13, technically. Ill go into detail about our schooling on a later post) has a team, and every state has a championship tournament set up. You start seeing the rivalries in college, with the such of Ohio State and Michigan, or Michigan and Michigan State( yes. They are both in the same state) And these rivalries sometimes get violent. Theres name calling. Ive seen (and been a part of) fist fights over these rivalries.
What started as a friendly sport back in the 20s has become so flooded with these rivalries.
On the NFLs SILENT and PEACEFUL protest: I do not agree with what people are saying. They have tried so many times to protest peacefully, with no avail. Now they are being heard, because of the supposed disrespect to the veterans. I know many veterans who are proud of what they are doing.
