Hello all. Its me again, but this week wont be on just America. This weeks message will be on something that most have, and take for granted: the telly. And video games.
Let me start by saying this: I myself am a gamer and love watching the telly. But, that does not affect what i am going to say.
Originally introduced by Scottish inventor Alexander Bain in the 1840s, the first telly was called a Facsimile machine
It wasnt until the 1920s that we saw a telly with moving pictures, and at that time it was only picture. There wasnt any sound until the 1940s, and even then it was only music to demonstrate mood. In the 1950s we started to see tellys with sound and voices, and in the 60s-70s we began to see the first color telly. This is when my favorite show began. (Huge Whovian)
During the 80s we saw the first home video game consoles. Right away, gaming became hugely popular. Throughout the 80s and 90s gaming began to evolve into what it is now. The 2000s introduced online gaming, and the late 2000s we saw an increase in both mobile and online gaming.
Now, to the good the bad and thr ugly. The good is, theres now an outlet for a lot of peoples more negative emotions. The bad is people no longer communicate. And the ugly is all of these have made a lot of people lazy and thus making them unhealthy.
