Hello readers before we begin I thought you would like to here the confidence of the spanierds that no one will steal things as I was walking to the shops this morning the local moterbike shop had his door wide open and a sign saying ill be back in 10mins.
Ok lets begin picture this ,if you may ,we are poorly farmers living in northern spain you have just eaten your paella lunch and you see thousands apon thousands of french troops marching south west towards Portugal . Because ,as part of the Napolionic wars and with the help of Spain ,Portugal will be conquered.
The year is 1807 but because you are a spanish peasant you wont know that because you are poor and wont have any education. But anyway just a year later thoose very troops that marched down the road are marching, muskets foward as they try to conquer Spain .
But you wont have it, so after eating some bravas, you gather up your mates and what ever weapons you can aquire and organise little groups of guerrilas to slow the frenchies down as the combined might of the UK , Spain and Portugal retake and banish the lil frenchmans army, And finally 5 years later the last frenchie left through the mountains and you return victorious to your home and during the time that you have been gone your country as grown and makes the Spanish constitucion that is still in use to this day.
