Hello all with the popularity of the last Independence post I decided to do some research on other countries and this week its Brazils turn.
It all started in the year 1821 and you are a local butcher working in a little village in brazil . One day you hear the police yelling and you go outside to see whats going on and you see them argueing with a couple local boys (who will later become militia)
With in weeks of this event thoose very militia have chased the portugese out and the town was celebrating this fact the very next day u watch one of the militia put up a sign for people to join the army and newly minted navy and you decide to sign up.
A few years later...
You have risen to the rank of second in comand of your ship directly under your english captain how did this happen you ask yourself. Well because of the lack of decent ships in brazil they sent a envoy with the Empereor of brazils name saying to buy up all the ships he can and fill them with british mercenaries .
The Navys job so far was making sure no portugese ship touched brazilian shore and at that moment your ship was chasing the portugese across the alantic and securing the independence for your country.
For the next 3 years portugal tried every trick it could to stop any of the european powers from accepting Brazil as independent but they failed...
