How Great Britain lost its colonies part 2 Canada.

Hello all and welcome back to another historical post this week we are going to learn how Canada became in many ways independent.

Before there was a Canada there was a wasteland ruled by native indians who long died off by the time the english and french got there. But luckily for the English they beat the french in the seven year war and claimed the canadian land for themselves and with adding all the other territories in 1861 it became a Nation called Canada.

What know one knew was that a global war would help foster realtions between the 2 nations with the help of the Canadians in a few key locations it helped. like the Somme, Vimy and Passchendaele in what would later become Canadas 100 days. aswell as the infantry the newly formed canadian air force helped with the ace (amongst others) Billy Bishop.

In the interwining years after the great war Canada became more and more independent. helped majorly that Canada had a seat in the treaty of Paris because of its great loss % wise. Because of this the Canadians stayed out of a potencial war with Turkey (aka through GB).

Then in 1982 after several acts Canada becomes Independent

Thats all for today have a chilled day from the viking
