Ok let us begin we are today a lowly servant working for a Mr Aguinaldo in the year 1898 and you here in the background someone is shouting in spanish and since you are from a more rural village you only speak Tagalog and ask a local what he is saying. this man tells you that he is saying that the philippines are free and Independent and he has declared himself Dictator.
A few days later after clearing up lunch for Mr Aguinaldo and a extremely white man from a far away.
what you didnt know was that they were talking about instead of being a dictator that Mr Aguinaldo will declare himself President so replacing the dictatal goverment which is massively not what america wants and creating a Revolucionary goverment.
What you heard next were war plans agaisnt the spanish to help the americans with the promice that they will offer the protection of their navy.But their were no formals papers saying anything about that suprisingly because the president trusted the americans.
Many more things continued to happen until the year 1902 with the end of the american- philipino war...
