The Mummy 2017

Plot:
A revamp of the Mummy franchise that wasnt needed at all instead of being in the golden sands of Eygpt we went to Iraq then London not exactly sandy in the later and based in the present day.
Well ladies and gents i understand why this was canned by pretty much everyone this is Toms equivalent of Batman Forever and we all saw how that was. There is so many things wrong with this such as the loss of 2 directors before it was ever made.
Secondly the time frame is wrong instead of being in the teens and 2oies like the Brendan Fraiser versions (Who also starred in Scrubs). with it ebing in the 21st century means modern era gadgets and other things which take the magic out of it and pulls me from the movie.
Thirdly when i first saw this movie advertised and saw Tc and Russell crow in it i thought it was going to be amazing but between the world building and the Jekyll / Hide scene which was only there to as i said build the unverse of dark which i really had hope for in the long run.
all in all a poor movie by great actors that will be black mark on them for a few years unfortunity maybe if they had a little more |Comedy in it . I know Jake Johnson tried but he was almost tied up with his lines.
