Baby Driver
Hello ladies and gents today its Movie Madness Num2 i see we have some following for this series already which i am very happy about anyway . Odays post is about the newish film Baby Driver if you have seen it already i surgest you go and try and watch it again because i thought it was great. Thats it thats this post and as always have a chilled day...
Im kidding you lets get into it so get a soda and some chips and settle down for some Baby driver.
You got your snacks , good. Lets get in to this . This movie i watched this morning not expecting much out of it to be hinest a friend recomended it a while back but meh thats life. Id like to start off with saying this will probably be Kevin spaceys last film or one of them anyway. Lets start with the other characters.
- Ansel Elgort as Baby / Miles, a young man with a love for music who works as the getaway driver for a rotating crew of bank robbers
- Hudson Meek as young Miles
- Kevin Spacey as Doc, the mysterious kingpin of the rag-tag gang of bank robbers and a veteran criminal mastermind
- Lily James as Debora, a young waitress and Baby's love interest
- Jamie Foxx as Bats / Leon Jefferson III, an impulsive, violent member of Doc's gang
- Jon Hamm as Buddy / Jason Van Horn, a gritty party animal and former banker; a frequent member of Doc's gang
- Eiza González as Darling / Monica Castello, one of Doc's gang of bank robbers, Buddy’s lawless and scandalous wife and partner in crime
- Jon Bernthal as Griff, one of Doc's gang, who mocks Baby constantly
- Flea as Eddie "No-Nose", one of Doc's gang
- Lanny Joon as JD, one of Doc's gang
- CJ Jones as Joseph, Baby's deaf foster father
Its nice to see Jamie Foxx in a movie again i havent seen him since Django Unchained which was a good movie. Unfortunity i dont knw much about the other actors apart from Kevin.
The Movie was great with decent characters and the premise was a work of genius and it showed hoe deaf people can still enjoy music via the vibrations which is a great idea that should be broadcast more. So i surgest if you know a deaf or going deaf person to try it and see a smile form. This movie unlike most seesthe character get caught and sent to prison even though for the amount of dead people that were around he got let of easy.
What made the movie slighty odd was the last scene which i think Jamie Foxxes character should have been the last to die and the couple to both be killed by police gun fire because i thought that the guy was almost a father figuresque which i thought was a good idea in general. This movie is one that doesnt need a sequal and in this year of 2018 where 95% of all movies are built for sequels which frankly annoys me.
Ok going to the main character for a bit who i think was perfectly casted for that role who knows it could have been written for him and who doesnt want to have all thoose Ipods which as a tech guy must have been hard to find them all. I counted at least 30of them on his desk. Staying with the tec for a bit you got to love all the 90ies tec which was well cool.
On a personal note this will be on my rewatch list at sometime of the future . One thing i didnt understand about the movie is why that Queen song come on you have atleast 5 more popular ones that would have fit in perfectly. Anyway all in all a fun movie to watch about a good kid in a bad place with love thrown in for the Gfs that you watch it with.
