In my house we started playing 2009 edition i rerember this because my brother had recently learnt how to use the controls and it wasnice to play with him after him watching me since he was 2 or 3. In mnay ways its more fun than watching the actual game at least in my humble opinion. This family since then have always played them including my father who isnt the biggest videogame fan but he saw it as a away to get me my brother and i interested in the game which we played in the garden from then on.
What makes this game so popular is there wild range of players from different countries and teams and we could always make matches that will never happen like West ham versus Bercelona f.c which we can all agree wont happen in my lifetime and from what i can see with the Player creator that one of them had you can play next to your heros. And as my friend says you can create your own team and build them up to beat the best the world has to offer which i think is a major draw.
With the rise of mobile devices and the mobile version will it kill the series off the console and pc all together or will it simply carry on . We shall see in the near future i hope you enjoyed this post and as always have a chilled day from The Viking.
