Tv Tuesday Vol 15

Hello ladies and gents this week i have been watching a programe which i loved when its on and i still look for reruns whenever it is on yes i do still watch normal Tv dont put the old way down on a mental thought do you think the next british coronation will be on Youtube and Tv that would be new.
Ok back to the show this show really widened my vision and for alot of kids my age it was akmazing how people did this this show is called.

ScrapHeap Challenge

Scrapheap Challenge is a game show where teams of contestants had 10 hours (around sunset) in which to build a working machine that could do a specific task, using materials available in a scrapheap. The format was exported to the United States, where it was known as Junkyard Wars. The US show was also produced by RDF Media, and was originally shown on The Learning Channel. Repeats have aired on another Discovery network, the Science Channel. A campaign has recently been launched on Facebook and Twitter to try to convince the producers to bring back the series.

As the title surgests this TV show was always on a saturday morning and it became a ritual for us as we watch these teams from every part of england make machines that you think would be impossible to build but every week they suprised us some that stick to mind are paddle steamers, peddle powered flying machines and firengines. The idea was the presenters would tell them what they had to make and gave them a quad and trailer 10 hours to build out of things they have found on the scrapheap ergo car parts and bring them back to there build shop.

On each team there was 4 people 1 experts who was provided because they knew what top do on the actual project then you have the captain whoi would stay in the build shop with the expert while the 2 grunts would go and collect the scrap i know it doesnt sound amazing but it was cool to watch. After they created the vehicles they then tested them the next day at a course the show made to show if the machines could do what they where made for.

In many ways it was a great show that i wish they would make new series on i always thought my father and his 2 mechanical friends would make a great team but as i have grown older i think my keen eye (he said while wearing glasses) would find the correct thinbgs and help make things. Hmm all in all a great show that i surgest you watch and as always have a chilled day from  the viking.
