Anyway lets talk about TV tuesday. This week i have received a Email from a guy called Aaron from California who asked me to watch his favourite show which is...

SURVIVE THAT

Survive That (US: Dude Your'e Screwed) is a survival TV show hosted by the Discovery Network.  Each episode one of the team of 5 professional survival/primitive living experts is kidnapped, searched for belongings and dropped with very limited resources into an extreme environment somewhere across the globe.

Given just 100 hrs to make it from the drop off point to a place of safety with no food, water or shelter and just a few gifts, often novelty items from the fellow cast members they must adapt quickly and use all their knowledge to beat the clock and avoid disqualification  (disqualification happens if the contestants core body temp falls or raises beyond set safety limits).

LETS MEET THE TEAM.

The series is hosted by survival experts who also take turns being the contestant. The hosts are;

Casey Anderson - World class tracker and conversationalist.
Matt Graham - Primitive skills specialist. Master of the atlatl.
John Hudson - Former helicopter pilot for the British Royal Air Force, John wrote the current SERE manual used by UK special forces.
Tom Moore - Served 16 years as a pathfinder in the US Army. Survival instructor.
Terry Schappert - United States Army National Guard Special Forces veteran.
Tim Smith - Registered Master Maine Guide who spent significant amounts of time living and traveling with the native Cree people in northern Quebec.
Chris Swanda - Backwoods survivalist who teaches wilderness survival, bushcraft and emergency preparedness.
Jake Zweig - Former US Navy Seal.

I personally really enjoyed this program what a great idea for a tv show and makes the survival shows somewhat cooler and more mainstream in a way that brings more people in to this show which makes it better. In many ways its how a group of mates should be because the comradre between them glues it all together and makes a enjoyable show that if hilarious.

I hope You Enjoyed todays post and as always have a chilled day from the Viking.
