Games with Gold February 2019 CONFIRMED: Major Nelson reveals FREE Xbox One, 360 Games

GAMES WITH GOLD - UPDATE 1

Microsoft's Major Nelson has just announced the new February's 2019 Games with Gold lineup.

The lineup of games, which goes live this Friday includes Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and Super Bomberman R on Xbox One.

Whilst on Xbox 360 (and playable on Xbox One thanks to Backwards Compatibility) you can download and play Assassin's Creed Rogue, followed by Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

According to Microsoft, February's lineup provides over $89 (£67) in value and up to 3000 in gamerscore.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

Jump into retro-style gaming with Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. With the involvement of the legendary Koji Igarashi, this action-adventure title harkens back to some of the classic side-scrolling games of the past. Switch your play among several different characters, each with their own unique abilities, as you travel perilous lands to defeat the evil demon lurking in the forbidden castle.

Super Bomberman R

Step into the fun, because Super Bomberman R is back and better than ever! Assassin’s Creed Rogue

It's very likely that we're going to see a Games with Gold lineup announced by Microsoft today (or, at latest, we'd wager, tomorrow).

We usually see the lineup announced towards the end of the month - typically on a Tuesday, sometimes on a Wednesday - and since Thursday is the last day of January... well, the stars are aligned for a reveal very soon. 

Why do we think we're going to see an announcement soon? Well, October 2018's games were announced on September 25, and September 2018's games were announced on August 28. We saw later announcements happen later in the year, with November's games only getting announced on October 30, but we're confident Microsoft will reveal them soon.
