Empty minds,
Empty lives.
We sit and stew,
but to which end?
It will matter naught in the end.
Their minds will clutter,
Facts to be memorized with no regard.
When all is said and done,
One will only remember what they want.
It will matter naught in the end.
No loss,
No reward,
Only one final paper left in hand.
Go on,
Live your life,
Say your piece.
Yet there is a line,
One should not cross,
But satisfied is what you'll never be.
Don't force your thinking,
On yet another being,
For all opinions matter equally.
We go to Hartford,
But your minds in Washington,
God forbid you ever make it there.
Politicians should never be,
the only voice you are meant to see.
Representatives must simply represent.
Yet they pass judgment,
Much like you and me.
They fall in line,
With the richest vote.
If he is right,
Why not simply declare him king...?
