Jekyll Island

Located off the coast of Georgia, Jekyll Island is an adorable vacation spot and one of the Golden Isles of Georgia. Once a seasonal living space of the indigenous peoples of the region, today the island is a grand vacation spot and home to a sea turtle rehabilitation center.

Within the small island is a Landmark Historic District. There are also bike trails, beaches, sandbars, and a water park called Summer Waves. The historic district is filled with many impressive and ambitious buildings from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Last year Architectural Digest named Jekyll Island the eleventh most beautiful small town in America.

The Jekyll Island Club Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is an island made famous by the J.P. Morgan's and Rockefeller's of the world. It is a quaint and little island that fills one with a vast sense of history and wonder. When walks along the beach you can feel the serenity of the island. It is truly a wonder of the world.
