Hello ladies and gents this is the viking telling you that today we are going to talk about a wonderful little app...

MLB AT BAT

As an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to baseball, it is important for me to be able to acess all of the latest stats and scores at a moments notice. This wonderful app lets me keep up to date with the latest New York Mets drama without having to go diggin online for it. In all honesty it is the most used app on my (the Northern Rose's) phone.

I may not be the most technologically savy person yet, with this app I do not have to be. There are a few in-app purchases that let you stream games live within the app, yet they certainly do not bug you to purchase what they are offering. You can also stay up to date with the going on's within a game with their live graphics and box scores, both of which are free.

The only down side to this app is, if you purchase their live streaming features, you cannot watch the game that is happening within your region. For example, if you live in the state of Connecticut you cannot watch the Mets, Yankees, or Redsox (most importantly you cannot watch the Mets and listen to the antics of Gary, Keith, and Ronny). Nevertheless, this is still a really good app.
