CRIME CORNER

Hello ladies and gents this is the viking telling you that today we are talking about

Assault at gun point - crime is out of control in St. Croix

A sleepless night in a “shoebox” (Poverty in Paradise ...
  • Five of us were on St. Croix for the Iron Man in May. We went out to dinner the last night and don't know if someone followed us to the condo. Regardless we were held at gun point. Some quick action we make it into our condo but we could have been shot dead.
  • This was the worst night of my life. I was sure we were going to die.
  • Called police - condo security was no where to be found.
  • Police took the information but after 10 telephone calls and 6 months of follow up they could not care less. They just wanted us to go away and not bother them. Total lack of respect and of course no follow up to find the person.
  • I have worked with St. Croix for may years but not it is out of control. I am not sure that anyone should go to St. Croix with the current crime rate. You should be in your condo before the sun sets and always watch your surroundings.
  • Life change - the fact we were not shot was amazing.
  • Don't think I will be back - way to dangerous.
  • Poverty and out of work are not the excuse for violent crime.

PROVERTY IS OUT OF CONTROL.

and as always have a chilled day from the Viking
