Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about
BOOZY CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES
- 1 (16OZ) PACK FRESH STRAWBERRIES
- 1.5 CUPS DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 2 CUPS
WHISKEY
- Rinse berries, pat dry and place in large bowl or mason jar.
- Fill jar with whisky and make sure all strawberries are submerged. Close lid tightly and refrigerate overnight 6-8 hours.
- Drain strawberries over a large bowl (saving the leftover liquid for cocktails) and pat strawberries dry with paper towel.
- Place chocolate in microwave safe bowl and microwave in 15-second intervals, stir and repeat (5 - 6 times) until you get a smooth consistency. Let stand 1 minute.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper and dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, ¾ of the way leaving a little bit of red + the stem on.
- Refrigerate 10-15 minutes until the chocolate has set
