CHOCOLATE

 Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about 

BOOZY CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

  • 1 (16OZ) PACK FRESH STRAWBERRIES 
  • 1.5 CUPS DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • 2 CUPS
    WHISKEY

 

  1. Rinse berries, pat dry and place in large bowl or mason jar.
  2. Fill jar with whisky and make sure all strawberries are submerged. Close lid tightly and refrigerate overnight 6-8 hours.
  3. Drain strawberries over a large bowl (saving the leftover liquid for  cocktails) and pat strawberries dry with paper towel. 
  4. Place chocolate in microwave safe bowl and microwave in 15-second intervals, stir and repeat (5 - 6 times)  until you get a smooth consistency. Let stand 1 minute.
  5. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, ¾ of the way leaving a little bit of red + the stem on.
  6. Refrigerate 10-15 minutes until the chocolate has set
