Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about
ZORBING
Steve Camp holds the world record for the longest distance covered via zorbing. He travelled 570 meters, i.e. around 1,870 ft in a single roll only.
2. Rebecca Mazonson holds the record for the longest time spent inside a zorbing ball during a zorbing event. She was zippered inside a zorb for straight three hours, 49 minutes and 6 seconds.
3. Rebecca Mazonson also held the world record of the fastest zorbing ride. She rode the zorb with a speed of 32 mph. Later, Keith Kolver broke her record and rode a zorb with a speed of 32 mph.
4. On 8th September 2019, James Duggan completed his fastest 100 meters of zorbing in 23.21 seconds. He, therefore, held the record for the fastest 100 meters in the Maguire Harvest Festival, Ireland.
5. The zorb ball looks much similar to hamster balls, but they are different in their physics. The zorb can roll down a slope by its own due to gravity, which is not the case with a hamster ball.
6. The zorb ball is packed tight with the supply of oxygen inside the core. These are idle for participants who have no issues of carbon dioxide inhalation.
7. The zorb balls were also selected as a symbol in the Sochi Winter Olympics, held in 2014 in Russia.
8. Zorbing is very popular in Coastal areas of India. It can be played on a water surface as well as a plane surface.
And as always have a chilled day from the Viking
