VERY INTERESTING: T. REX

Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about

T.REX

12 feet tall nearly a house

14 feet long the length of a school bus

Up to 15,500 pounds that’s 8 tones

That’s 3 elephants.

Late Cretaceous between 90-60 million years ago.

They were a hunter but also a scavenger. Hunting Edmontosaurus and triceratops. But would feed on any dead things that was about too.

They couldn’t sprint for a long time so hunting like a lion getting as close as they can to prey was the best change they had. With there jaw power being the strongest ever to be on this earth they would break bones with ease. With a bite force of  35,000 newtons .

Scientists believe they were very protective over their young including the dads. However using research with crocodiles and birds they estimated after a T. rex lays her 6-8 eggs they will incubate up to 6 weeks in a giant pile of dirt and foliage making sure egg eating mammals don’t get to them. But life and other predators within the first year the babies will dwindle down from 6/8 to 2/3.

And as always thank you to Dino Lou for making this post
